Abstract	The article investigates the specific of public control in the participation in the prosecutorial activity in the context of enhancing the credibility of Ukrainian society. Subject and limits of such control are considered by author as grounds of credibility to the such institution as prosecutor’s office. The regulatory support and basic control-oriented directions of public supervision in the sphere of prosecutorial activity are analyzed.
